I've been a student of yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2009. I've had the honor of co-directing 200 hour teacher trainings and bringing trauma information and sensitivity to the yoga community. I'm a curious mover and continue to learn about how our bodies move and all that is held within our bodies. I've studied with Leslie Kaminoff, Kathryn Bruni-Young, Deb Dana, Katy Bowman and many more because I'm comfortable with knowing that there is so much I don't know. My intention is to create space on the mat to stay curious and to keep learning together in ways that are progressive, thoughtful, playful and perhaps hard. You're the expert of your experience and making choices and feeling empowered can be a gift of this practice.

My philosophy of teaching is creating a space where we can share power rather than me hoarding power. What that means is that our time together is filled with choice and opportunities to perhaps notice how it feels to make a choice based on sensation. The movement and the asana contain an experience that is yours and we get to share that together. I love chatting before and after class to hear your thoughts and receive feedback and take requests and have community. We're in this together!
