Practicing and teaching Yoga has helped me understand that life is not happening to us, but rather in response to us. My yoga journey is much the same. After struggling with anxiety, depression and an eating disorder (and the prescription medication that came along with all of it) — I took a single yoga class that inspired change within me. Shortly after, I signed up for my first 200hr RYT and decided to seek an alternative to the medications I had been on for more than a decade. Now, stepping onto a yoga mat no matter where I am in the world now always feels like coming home. In 2013 I became a certified 500 ERYT through my education at SWIHA in Arizona. I’m currently living in Tempe, AZ with my boyfriend Gabe and our three huskies sharing Mindfulness, Yoga and music to new and old friends all over the world!
