WHAT IT IS
Throughout the lifecycle, we as humans respond to sound on a primitive and emotional level. And similar to a musical instrument needing retuning when something is off-kilter, so can our energy be re-tuned by sound to help facilitate healing and well-being.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sounds can be soothing and energizing, calming and inspiring, moving and healing. Sound therapy sessions may include the thrum of a gong, the rippling of a singing bowl, music, or chanting (for listening or vocalizing yourself) – each serving a different purpose and tapping into unique frequencies. You may feel alert and attuned, or relaxed and meditative.
BENEFITS
Sound therapy promotes release, renewal and balance. The vibrations of some tones can even help stimulate the vagus nerve, which is interrelated with many systems of the body and related symptoms.
