My Philosophy

Yoga is, for me, about integration and healing: slowing down, moving with purpose and meaning (guided by the breath) and truly balancing the qualities of strength and softness. The heart of the practice, the reason I come to the mat, is to bring together the disparate parts of myself (the parts I may be neglecting), and to connect, once again, to my inner strength and my center, and to find the courage to soften. Yoga is, simply put, a portal to the present moment.
