Brooklyn based yoga and Pilates Instructor, Catie specializes in teaching self-love and care in each of her sessions whether they be yoga, Pilates or Thai Massage. She believes these types of movement are so deeply needed in order to find a better connection with the self, a moment to still the mind and work out all the other stuff just lingering in our bodies. Her goal is to empower her students by weaving in tiny little challenges into her class that she masterfully builds up to in order to highlight their inner strengths. Catie’s intention as a teacher is to assist her students in seeing their own light despite whatever challenges they may seem to be facing. Teaching changed her life, movement, breath and meditation helped Catie overcome many of her obstacles and continues to empower her daily. She teaches a blend of vinyasa and anusara yoga, as well as Kundalini yoga and meditation, Pilates mat and apparatus, and does Thai bodywork and Reiki. She has been teaching since 2010 and travels around the world, teaching and counseling through her work as a healer.
