Jessica is a certified yoga teacher, nutritionist, founder of Joyful Balanced Life, and creator of The Mindful Life Method. After a cancer scare 6 years ago, her doctor recommended she try yoga to help relieve stress. After her first class, she felt a change in her mind and body and desired to have that feeling more. Her daily practice continued and after a couple of years, she felt drawn to enroll in a yoga teacher training by Sariah Bastian, yoga therapist. Through yoga, meditation, and breathwork, she felt like she was returning home to herself and found a newfound peace and clarity. She desired to share this with others and began teaching women yoga online, holding retreats, and creating a community of healing through her classes. She incorporates breathwork and meditation into each class, allowing each person a chance to find answers and healing within.
