I'm a former Medical Researcher turned Holistic Stress and Resilience Coach and I'm trained in Holistic Nutrition, Yoga, Integrative Restoration (iRest®) Yoga Nidra Meditation and Reiki. Having experienced tremendous stress, anxiety and stress-related health conditions most of my life, I found healing through good nutrition and holistic stress management. Realizing that many share the same struggles, I am passionate about empowering men and women to move beyond daily stress and anxiety; restore health and energy; and live with purpose, peace and resiliency. I teach various styles of Yoga including, Vinyasa, Power, Restorative, Chair and Foundational Yoga and have a strong focus on providing a trauma-sensitive and accessible Yoga practice for everyone, no matter your physical level or Yoga experience. I am also trained in iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation, which is an effective and evidence-based practice to decrease stress, anxiety, insomnia, post traumatic stress and chronic pain, while supporting deep relaxation, increased resiliency, inner peace and well-being. I offer both group classes and private one-on-one sessions for Yoga, Meditation, Reiki and Coaching. With a multidisciplinary background, I have a unique perspective in recognizing and finding solutions to obvious and hidden sources of stress that show up in our lives both physically and psychologically. My approach is accessible, realistic and nurturing. I tailor to each individual’s unique journey to health and well-being and am dedicated to serving and supporting those in my community with trauma-informed practices of Yoga and Meditation. What we resist, persists. Life presents us with many opportunities for growth and liberation. While we may not have a lot of control over our external circumstances, we do have control over how we experience them. But first, we need to re-learn how to be with ourselves again. Reconnecting with our Self, realigning our mind, body and soul will lead us to holistic healing, empowerment and so much more.
