About this class

In this 30-minute Flow we will link together balancing postures, such as Tree pose, Eagle, and Warrior 3, steadily and mindfully, bringing out awareness to each transition, each moment and each breath,, and moving from the center of the body, Balancing postures enhance focus and integration and strengthen the core. 

We will begin with a very brief meditation, and potentially a mantra, to connect to stillness and our core, our essence, before we do a warm-up followed by a series of linked balancing postures to create a flow and a dance with the breath. We will close with a Savasana if time permits.

You will focus on

  • Balancing postures.
  • The transition between each posture.
  • Your core center to guide you through each posture and transition with stability, strength, and grace.
  • Marrying each breath to each movement and transition.

How to come prepared

  • You + your yoga mat :)
  • If you like to use blocks, a strap, or a blanket please have them handy.
