"‘The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion - Albert Camus"

My name is Atma Sundri Kaur (Rebecca Casey). I started practicing yoga in 2010 after the birth of my youngest child. Yoga and mindfulness brought much needed stress relief to my busy life. While spending over 20 years in the healthcare industry, I also became deeply curious about by the root cause of disease in our bodies. After experiencing trauma in my own life which led to anxiety, depression, and addiction, I began to resonate with the concept that the body has an innate ability to heal itself. This journey led me to Kundalini Yoga in 2017. This yoga of awareness was a beautiful combination of my life long spiritual journey and love for intense physical practices. I completed my Kundalini Yoga teacher training in 2021. The never ending quest for learning and understanding continues to deepen my practice. As I further studied the nervous system and trauma/tension energy in the physical body, I discovered TRE®. Quickly after being introduced to Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®), I knew it was the perfect additional self-care tool that my body needed to help switch off my overactive fight-or-flight response. As a TRE® provider, I am honored to share this revolutionary self-care technique to help you relax your body and calm your mind. My intention as a yoga teacher is to inspire students to feel empowered and find strength to resolve past trauma and addiction through self-love and to realize they are the powerful creators of their lives. Kundalini Yoga and TRE® have enriched my life in so many ways and it is my great honor to share the gift of these practices.
