I began my yoga journey at Pratt Institute, where I studied graphic design and illustration. My first meditation class was with Joelle Danant, which deeply changed the way I saw the world and myself. I underwent my first 200 HR in vinyasa yoga and philosophy at Happy Buddha with Kelly Kamm in 2016. The first classes I taught were primarily focused on gentle movements and seated meditation. I began growing as a teacher, expanded my offerings to 8 times a week, all different levels and styles, and managed a New York yoga studio. Over the years, I've taken various trainings in different styles of yoga and meditation with exceptional teachers who pushed my boundaries and expanded my mind. To name a few, Abbie Galvin's 10 HR At Home Practice, Elena Brower's Simplify training, Sarah Powers Yin Yoga online intensive, and Jana Romer's Overcome Obsessive Thinking course. Today, I teach vinyasa and yin with the intention to share ALL eight limbs of yoga with the utmost respect, sincerity, and vulnerability. My goal as a teacher is to hold space for my students in a compassionate way, and to constantly tune-in to the student within me. I hope for my students to feel safe and inspired so that they continue to learn and experience the practice in their own way. I'm also an artist at heart. Art has been a part of my journey inward long before yoga. Art was my first mind-trainer, heart-opener, and vehicle to share my inner world with others.
