I started my journey with yoga 12 years ago. Being a naturally curious person, I tried several types of yoga (Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Aerial). I am a mother of 2 boys and stayed home full time for 3 years. I decided to get certified as a yoga instructor through YogaFit. I also have a degree in Physical Therapy as a PTA and have been a practicing therapist assistant for over 20 years. My experience in Physical Therapy and Yoga have enabled me to make yoga more inclusive to people who may have physical limitations. I have a degree in Psychology which assists in bringing the mind/body connection to the forefront. eZENtial Yoga focuses on the more rehabilitative and restorative benefits of yoga.
I believe yoga as well as fitness should be available to anyone who wants to try it. I believe in encouraging people along the way to give them the tools to believe in themselves. I believe rest is not always the best medicine. It is a combination of movement, stillness, breath, balance and strength. I believe that you can achieve what you need in life to find joy in it. Open your mind to what is around you, nothing is a coincidence.
