Looking to begin your day at a slower pace, reduce stress, and embrace flexibility? This class is for you!
This gentle asana class focuses on slow, gentle, deliberate movements and stretches to help you begin your day with a sense of inner peace, calm, and intention.
Class begins with a short meditation to help center the mind, bring focused awareness to the breath, and release tension. You will move through a series of seated, reclined, and low to the floor poses, such as gentle twists, forward folds, back bends, and hip openers, holding postures for a few breaths.
This class is designed to help you “let go”. As you mindfully move from one posture to the next, you will be encouraged to move at your own pace, listen to your body, embrace grounding, and to take breaks as needed.
Class concludes with a guided meditative Shavasana to cultivate a sense of restoration as you rise, ready to prepare for the start of your day with calm and ease.
This class is suitable for all levels.
