About this class
Health is not just about the absence of disease. This 6-part series introduces the art of living well according to Ayurveda, the ancient system of holistic medicine also known as the sister science of yoga.
These workshops will give you the necessary tools to understand, develop, and implement personal Ayurvedic practices into your lifestyle, with the purpose of achieving a sustainable level of optimal health that is right for you. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will learn to cultivate a dynamic state of harmony between the body and its senses, the mind and emotions, and the spirit. You will also have access to a supportive, non-judgmental community where you can ask questions and share experiences, and connect with like-minded people on a shared path to holistic wellness.
Course content will be comprehensive and customized to fit the specific needs of the group.
Each workshop will build on the one(s) before it, so attendance at all 6 is very highly recommended in order to get the most out of the experience. Creating a consistent community is an integral part of these practices.
