About this class

This one hour class is a short form, modified version of the half primary series of Ashtanga Yoga.  It begins with Sun Salutations to help connect the breath with the body. It moves through standing as well as seated poses.This class moves at a slower pace allowing time for more instruction along with the use of variations, modifications and props. More complex poses have been eliminated. Class begins and ends with a short meditation and breath work.

You will focus on

  • Combining breath with movement.
  • Become familiar with the Ashtanga Yoga sequence.
  • Learn to practice in your own unique way.
