About this class

In this class students will take a deep dive into the other limbs of yoga! Beginners as well as advanced students will explore the tranformational powers of meditation, pranayama and chanting. In this class students will learn techniques that utilize the breath, body, visualization, and sound as objects of focus. Students will learn different pranayama techniques and sequences as well as various types of chanting. 

You will focus on

  • Visualization for meditation.
  • Breath control
  • Become comfortable using sound as an object of focus.
  • Focus on the felt sense of the body.

How to come prepared

  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Refrain from eating or drinking liquids too heavily one hour prior to the start of class.
  • Meditation cushion or something soft to sit on.
  • A blanket
