I studied Taoism, Buddhism, qi gong, and meditation for eight years with masters from Taiwan and China. For over a decade, I was bodyworker and qi gong instructor, providing presentations on Taoist and Buddhist texts, as well as classes on cooking and nutrition from an East/West medicine perspective. While going through a long, difficult divorce, I began to delve deeply into Jungian theory and the practice of active imagination. I found the Jungian framework and practices to be profoundly healing and even transformational in ways I had never experienced before. Over the past few years, I've been developing a project based on Jungian principles and practices called The Art of Narrative Alchemy. It's an exploration of the ways in which story, myth, art, imagination, and creativity imbue our lives with meaning, purpose, and connection. My aim is to share what I have learned and engage in further discussion with others who feel called to this work.
