About this class

First concieved by renowned 20th Century psychologist, Carl Jung, "The Shadow" is thought to be the darker side of our personality. The Shadow is how and what we project into the world as far as morals, habits, thought patterns, and world views from deep in the subconscious mind.

Based on your environment and upbringing (nature and nurture) as well as any phyiscal, mental, or emotional trauma you have experienced, the Shadow may unkowningly hold you back from living in alignment with your Higher Self.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we will take a deep dive into discovering our own Shadows and how to positively integrate them to balance with our Higher Self. We will move out of a fear-based reality into a more empowered and awakened state of being through movement, meditation, breathwork, and journaling.

How to come prepared

  • Where comfortable clothes or pajamas
  • Be in a quiet room with little distractions
  • Bring paper and a pen/pencil
  • Bring a blanket and pillow for comfort
