About this class
Hatha yoga is a dynamic alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the refinement of the asana (poses) and pranayama (breath) while entering, holding and moving on to the next asana. It is about connecting to the mind, body and spirit as we use the asana and stretches in combination with pranayama while holding the asana to develop flexibility and strength. This hatha practice is designed to help disengage the stress response built up during the course of the day so that the practitioner can easily transition into a more relaxed state.
