I received my 200-hour certification from Kripalu Institute for Yoga and Wellness in Lenox, Massachusetts in 2002. Since that time I have gone on to receive numerous credentials in anatomy and physiology, advanced breath work practices for stress reduction, yoga philosophy, restorative yoga, children’s yoga and Yoga Nidra level 1. As the owner of hOMe Yoga Experience from 2006-2017, I have led hundreds of classes and many workshops as well as yoga teacher training programs which have graduated over 100 teachers to date. In 2018 I earned a degree as a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This advancement compliments and informs my ability to help people who deal with physical, emotional and cognitive health issues. Using a client-based approach, my gifts of connection, empathy, and adaptability help facilitate an experience tailored to my students’ individual needs. My deepest desire is to help bring about healing and wellness in all forms.
My basic philosophy is to trust in the process. To listen to your intuitive self which is always guided by Spirit. To do each day, whatever it is that brings you alive, the energy that is your essence. And to remember that everything you need is already inside you. Be brave, courageous and vulnerable. Those qualities are the gateway to freedom.
