About this class

In this class students will take a deep dive into the other aspects of yoga. Beginners as well as advanced students will explore the transformational powers of meditaion, pranayama/breathing and chanting. In this class students will learn techniques that utilize the breath, body, visualization, and sound as objects of focus. Students will learn different pranayama/breathing  sequences as well as various types of chanting.

You will focus on

  • Visualization for meditation.
  • Breath Control.
  • Become comfortable using sound as an object of focus.
  • Focus on the felt sense of the body.

How to come prepared

  • Wear comfortable clothes.
  • Refrain from eating or drinking liquids too heavily one hour prior to the start of class.
  • A meditation cushion or something soft to sit on.
  • A blanket.
