About this class

Chair Yoga offers a variety of methods to support the well-being of an individual or loved one without strain or force during yoga practice. Yoga postures (asanas), and techniques vary based on what the body is experiencing now. Class is designed to move at a medium pace and introduces breathwork, meditation, and relaxation.  Movements are on the gentler side and the instructor provides alternatives for you to choose what option feels best. It is encouraged to consult with a physician prior to beginning a new exercise routine. Commit to the process, motivate yourSelf, and keep moving forward. 

Bring a Chair, and yoga mat (so the chair does not slip), as well as any cushions or blocks you may have nearby. At times we utilize them in practice and they are also wonderful tools as a general best practice.
