About this class

Each week, we will take the theme of the week and continue exploring it. On Monday, we broke down some of the components of squat and in this slow flow class we will add some movement and creative transitions and explore how squat shows up in different asanas. We will also explore the yoga science/philosophy/sutra of sthira and sukha.There will be opportunities for planks and vinyasa as well as options to skip those moments, if you'd like. (Slow doesn't mean "easy") All classes are standalone classes AND fun as progressions to keep building upon what you experience. I'm open to feedback and questions and thoughts and requests so come on early or let's chat after class.

The theme for November is around gratitude, so in each class, we will also explore what gratitude can feel like, in relationship with self and in relationship with others. 

You will focus on

  • Different "squat-like" yoga shapes through movement
  • Time to explore the STHIRA AND SUKHA of this yoga form
